     Ministry Opportunities 

Pastor's Bible Study
- This is an opportunity to investigate and study in depth the meaning of the Holy Scriptures as they are made applicable to our daily living.

United Methodist Men
-Meet monthly for fellowship, prayer,song and spiritual growth. Throughout the year the men provide Christian Discipleship to the community. Projects include community breakfasts, Men's Day and many other special projects.

Mentoring Program
-Our Methodist Men tutor and mentor neighborhood youth and young adults.

Missions Program
- At Christ Church the Missions Program is one of our focal points. We provide a number of services throughout the community including: feeding the hungry at the Randall Shelter, supporting our global missions in Africa, providing baby kits to needy mothers, and distributing health kits to area homeless.

New Members Class
- The Pastor and the Chairperson of the Department of Education conduct these classes which include the history, theology and organization of the United Methodist Church.

William Layton Tape Ministry
- This ministry helps spread the word of God by providing tapes of our weekly services.  

The Virginia Alexander Leadership Conference
- An annual conference that seeks to promote church growth through effective church leadership.

The Cora Reed Arts & Crafts Ministry
-This ministry provides an opportunity to express one's artistic talents.

Young Ladies of Christ (The YLC) and Young Men of Christ (The YMC)
- These ministries focuses on the young ladies and young men of the church and deal with the themes of fashion, health, education, etiquette and college preparation.
